0:00 Hello! In this video, I'll show you how to change the font on your website using Design Studio. Let's get started.
0:08 I'm starting from my dashboard, and I’m going into Design Studio by clicking my profile, then Design Studio.
0:18 Once in Design Studio, I’ll click the Fonts icon in the left navigation bar. 🤓 Tip: If you don’t see it, click the arrows to expand the menu.
0:29 To change the font, click the drop-down menu and select from the available fonts.
0:43 After selecting, you’ll see a preview. I like how this one looks, so I’ll update the other section to match.
0:56 You can edit:

  • Font family

  • Secondary font

  • Font size

  • Line height

  • Font weight
1:07 To change font colour, click the Colours icon, then use the Typography section to update colours.
1:27 Click Preview to check your changes. I like how this looks.
1:36 Click Publish to apply changes to your live site.
1:44 Then click Edit, followed by Exit Design Studio.
1:47 🤓 Accessibility tip: Fonts come from Google Fonts, built with accessibility in mind — but not all are equal.
    1:58 When choosing fonts:

  • Ensure text contrasts well with the background

  • Use scalable sizes for readability

  • Avoid fonts that are too light or bold

  • Use proper line height and letter spacing for clarity
2:39 Avoid squished fonts — they’re harder to read.
2:46 And that’s it! You’ve successfully updated your website fonts in Design Studio.
2:49 For more tips, check out our other Design Studio videos. Thanks for watching!
