Legacy Token Integrations

Legacy Tokens enable basic integration between your Access Volcanic website and external platforms. This allows job postings and data to be shared between systems without a full custom integration.

  • Fast setup directly from the admin area.

  • Can be fully configured by admin users.

  • Available at no additional cost.

Set Up a Legacy Token

Follow these steps to create and manage Legacy Tokens:

  1. Log in to the admin area, then click the Settings tab.

  2. Under the Site section, click Apps.

  3. Click the Legacy Tokens tab, then click the green + New button.

  4. Complete the relevant fields.

    • Name: Add the name or title of the integration, e.g. Broadbean.

    • Domain: Add the domain of your Volcanic website (e.g., https://www.example.com).

    • Locale*: Add the locale or location for your jobs (e.g., en).

    • Location locale*: Add the locale or location for your job locations (e.g., en).

    • Permissions: Add the required actions or permissions this integration needs.

      πŸ“Œ Note: Check if the integrated software requires certain permissions to be added.

    • Default job expiry date: If ticked, jobs sent over without an expiry date listed will be set to 30 days.

    • Send invitation emails to new users? Optional, select if preferred.

  5. Click Create Legacy Token.

πŸ“Œ Note: A green banner displays the API Key after creation. Copy and save it immediately. This is the only time it appears.

Set up with Service Work

Access Volcanic offers setup services for more advanced integrations, like Bullhorn and People XD, which require more custom configurations (e.g., webhooks, apps). These services are chargeable and handled by our Professional Services team.

You can also request technical help for Legacy Token setup if needed.

To request service work

  1. Review the options in the Access Volcanic Service Catalogue.

  2. Submit your request using Access FlexPoints.

  3. Contact your Account Manager or Customer Success Manager to discuss your request further.

If your system isn't supported yet, follow these steps to request a new integration:

  1. Gather full details about your platform and integration needs.

  2. Contact your Account Manager or Customer Success Manager.

  3. Our Product team will evaluate feasibility.
