Before you start
Before creating event pages, make sure you have:
Admin access to your Access Volcanic platform.
Event details prepared including name, start and end times, and publish date.
Optional content ready such as location, description, external registration URL, images, and tags.
Understanding of whether your site includes event listings or calendar functionality.
π Note: The availability and placement of event features like calendar modules or listing pages depend on how your site was implemented. If you can't find the Events section in your admin area, contact your Account Manager.
Accessing event management
You can access event management through your admin area to create and manage all event content.
Log in to the Admin Area as an admin.
Go to the Your Website tab in the top navigation.
Under the Content heading, click Events.
This opens the Events area where you can view, create, edit, and manage all event records for your website.
Creating a new event
Follow these steps to create and publish a new event page with all the necessary details.
In the Events section, click the green + New button.
Complete the event fields (see field reference below):
Click the blue Submit button to save the event.
π Note: Once saved, your event will follow the site's publishing logic and may appear automatically on event listings or calendars depending on your site configuration.

Permalink | Custom URL slug for the event page if you need a specific URL pattern. |

Featured | Marks the event as featured so it can be highlighted in supported components. |

To edit an event:
Go to the Events area and locate the event you want to update.
