FAQs
Q1: Why isn't a currency appearing on job adverts?
Answer: Check that the currency exists in Settings > Currencies, the job has salary values entered, and the user posting the job has permission to assign currencies.
Q2: How do I fix duplicate or incorrect currencies?
Answer: Go to Settings > Currencies, review all existing entries, then edit or delete any incorrect currencies to maintain clean data.
Q3: Can I change the default currency after it's been set?
Answer: Yes, edit any currency in Settings > Currencies and tick the Default checkbox to make it the new default currency.
Q4: Do I need to use ISO currency codes?
Answer: While ISO codes are optional, they're strongly recommended to support integrations, job feeds, and ensure compatibility with external systems.
Q5: What happens to existing jobs if I delete a currency?
Answer: Jobs using a deleted currency will no longer display salary information or currency symbols. Reassign jobs to another currency before deleting to avoid this issue.
Q6: How many currencies can I add to my platform?
Answer: There's no specific limit on currencies. However, it's best practice to add only currencies your organisation actively uses.
