New format: /job/sme23466.
Instead of: /job/senior-manager-engineering-23466.

The platform now uses unique system-generated job IDs instead of incremental counters, eliminating duplicate URL conflicts and improving overall platform stability:
Enhanced format: /job/sales-manager-4f3a2.
Replaces: /job/sales-manager-3.
Three URL Pattern Options
Choose from flexible URL formats in the Job URL structure section in your Site Settings:

Future-proof structure: Scales with recruitment needs without technical conflicts.
Preserved SEO value: URL changes apply only to new jobs, keeping existing URLs intact.

FAQs:
Q1: Will changing job URL patterns affect my existing jobs?
Answer: No, existing jobs keep their current URLs to protect SEO value and prevent broken links. URL pattern changes only apply to newly created jobs.
Q2: What if I don't want to use job references in my URLs?
Answer: Job references are only required when using reference-based patterns. The default Title + Number pattern with unique IDs doesn't require job references and remains fully supported.
Q3: Who is affected by these updates?
Answer: Job URL enhancements apply only to new jobs created after configuration changes. Broken links improvements enhance all users managing site health with zero disruption. Existing job URLs remain unchanged to preserve SEO value.
Q4: Will my broken links data be preserved during the interface update?
Answer: Yes, all existing broken links data and history are automatically migrated to the enhanced interface with no action required from customers.
Q5: Do I need to update my API integrations?
Answer: API integrations may require updates for reference-based URL patterns since the Job Reference field becomes mandatory. For broken links management, existing API endpoints remain unchanged.
Q6: How often should I run crawler scans for broken links?
Answer: Run scans regularly based on your content update frequency. Sites with frequent content changes benefit from weekly scans, while more static sites can use monthly scanning schedules.
Q7: Will the enhanced broken links interface affect site performance?
Answer: The new interface improves performance through better pagination and reduced infinite scrolling. Large datasets load faster and navigation is more responsive than the previous version.
Q8: Do I need to take any action during these updates?
Answer: No action is required from you during platform updates. All broken links data automatically migrates to the new interface, and these enhancements build on existing platform functionality.
